This Privacy Policy explains how Jewell Contractors Ltd, trading through IBC Services, collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you use the IBC Services website, make an enquiry, request a quotation, arrange or receive services, communicate with us, or otherwise deal with us.

It applies to business contacts and residential or consumer customers where the information relates to an identifiable individual.

The website contact form sends enquiry information through Formspree so that it can be delivered to IBC Services/Jewell Contractors Ltd.

We do not use contact-form enquiry details for unrelated direct marketing.

We do not currently use personal information submitted through the IBC Services website to send unrelated marketing emails, texts or marketing calls.

We may share personal information where reasonably necessary with service providers that support the website, communications and business operations.

This includes Formspree, which processes website contact-form submissions, and Vercel, which provides hosting and technical infrastructure for the website.

We may also share information with professional advisers, accountants, insurers, payment or banking providers, IT/service providers, public authorities, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where this is necessary for our operations or required or permitted by law.

We do not sell personal information.

9. International data transfers

Some technology service providers may process or store information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we expect appropriate safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism to be used as required by applicable data-protection law.

10. How long we keep personal information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for any related legal, accounting, tax, contractual or dispute-resolution requirements.

Enquiry information that does not lead to work will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry and manage any reasonable follow-up.

Where an enquiry leads to a quotation, booking or completed work, relevant customer, service, invoice, payment and correspondence records may be kept for longer where needed for business records, accounting, tax, legal obligations, warranties, complaints or legal claims.

We periodically review the information we retain and should delete or anonymise information when there is no longer a reasonable need to keep it.

11. Photographs and video

IBC Services may take photographs or video connected with work carried out, including before-and-after records, where appropriate.

Where photographs or video contain personal or sensitive identifying information that is not necessary for the intended use, such information will be blurred, obscured or otherwise removed before the material is used publicly.

We will handle photographs and video containing identifiable personal information in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

12. Website hosting, technical data and cookies

The IBC Services website is hosted using Vercel infrastructure. Like most web hosting services, technical information may be processed as part of delivering, securing and operating the website, such as IP address, device/browser information, request information and server or security logs.

IBC Services does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity or other visitor analytics or advertising tracking tools on the website.

If non-essential analytics, advertising cookies or similar tracking technologies are introduced in future, the website and this Privacy Policy will need to be updated and appropriate consent controls introduced where required.

Strictly necessary technical storage or similar technologies may be used where required to provide or secure the website.

13. Contact form and Formspree

When you submit the IBC Services contact form, the information you enter is transmitted through Formspree and delivered to Jewell Contractors Ltd.

The form currently asks for information including your name, email address, telephone number, company name where applicable, and your message or job details.

Please only provide information reasonably necessary for us to understand and respond to your enquiry.

14. Security

We take reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to use services and processes appropriate to the nature of the information we handle.
